it is probably because the 4 player option no longer appears in the play menu. you now have to get there through variants

the menus were recently updated and that button was removed. I am in the beta so it might not be public just yet. it is planned that 4 player and variants will merge

Because they changed the layout of four player, so now it is harder to find and create games.
Idk why but whenever I go to 4 player chess there are at least 1 game or none. I think a cause might be that players rather don’t know how to create a game or they don’t know that they made a private instead of public. Post your reasons in the comments (if you want it just helps).
