Frank Marshall: The Art of Attack

The following game was played by Frank Marshall and Amos Burn in 1907. It's a great example of a king hunt ad the methods used to initiate one. In it, Marshall plays aggressively in his attack on the enemy                                     

king and he forces opportunities for his attack when there are apparently none. Here is Marshall-Burn, 1907:

Pristine attack! Gotta love it. Sac, Sac, Sac, Mate. Blacks final position is hilarious. 3 pieces sitting quietly at home while the black king gets lured further and further into his coffin. Excellent.

Interesting, in fritz after bxh7+ black is slightly better, but only if he plays ...Kf8! Accepting the bishop sac was apparently a huge blunder that gave white about a 4 pawn advantage but after ...Kf8 black has an extra exchange and at least won't get mated right away.
