The Evans Sacrifice is indeed a very strategic opening, which not only challenges Black's traditional responses, but also creates early initiative and attacking opportunities for White. Against the Evans Sacrifice, Black needs to be very careful in balancing his defenses and center control. Personally, I think a deeper understanding of the rationale behind this opening and the possible variations is crucial to improving the response strategy. With the Vienna gambit you can very easily win there bishop if the pin you after playing d6 to decline the gambit.

Kings Fianchetto opening is a good opening, however it lets black take control of the center. It makes a really fun game, too.

Another really fun one is the center game. Really underated with lots of fun traps.
