I always have my students draw a picture or something in the middle of a test to help them relax. One student drew a picture of a river and commented that it was relaxing because a flowing river had nothing to do with math. I gave him a link to the Navier-Stokes equations and had the last laugh.
But B. The neural network ideas using Monte Carlo simulations to come up with the best lines rather than all the lines, as in the Alpha Zero project, are pretty cool.
