Refutation for black: 1.e4 c6 2.Nf3 d5 3.d3 dxe4 4. Ng5 exd3 5. Bxd3 e6 black is a pawn up and is doing fine.

If 6.Nxf7 then 6...Kxf7 is playable because after 7.Bg6+ black can play 7...Ke7 to defend the queen, and black is up a knight and completely winning.

e6 is super passive though, maybe Qc7 or something would be better

after 7. Bg6 black can just take the bishop cause if Qxd8 there is Bb4+

Kxg6 Qxd8 Bb4+ Qd2 and whites trades the bishops (ofc white is still losing due to being a knight + pawn down)

For anyone under 1500 this could be helpful because no one is seeing that if they are even near 1300. They will just follow principles like the person in this game and blunder

I agree, but in my experience of playing the Caro-Kann, i find lots of people miss the fact the e6 allows Ke7 to be played, so they end up blundering their knight, and with it the game.

Qc7 does seem like a much better move though when up against a more experienced player.
