The developing the two knights to the edge of the board thing is awful, and i like 14...a5 better. ill play through therest of the game and post another comment later.

2...Nh6 does really, nothing. It secures the g3 and the f4 square, which aren't critical squares in the opening.

Same with 3. ... Na6

4... f6 I think you're trying to protect yourself against the supposed threat of g5, trapping your knight. Remember your queen is protecting that square. That move just opened a diagonal to your king. Your opponent could easily just do 5. g5, fxg5
6. qh5+, endangering your king.

5. ...d6 I liked this move.Your bishop can take that pawn, which also forks the two pieces.

Ahh, Looking at the rest of the game, you and your opponent made a lot of blunders. Try tactics training, it'll help. Such moves such as 20...nxc3The only reason you lost is cause you made more blunders than your opponent in this game. I think this is because you play without a plan. This usually happens to me too when i was at the 1300 level, I just kept on playing with no plan until I saw an opportunity. That's wrong. You must always have some sort of goal, whether its to lure a piece away to take a simple pawn, or checkmate. This took me a long time to learn too =P

the Nh6 and Na6 were bad, f6 and c6 control more of the center. You should've lost at the end a piece down, but the opponent blundered it back... tactics trainer will help.

he should not have allowed me to take the bishop near the end

Ahh, sorry, I didn't see the rest of the game. =/

It's cause I thought after the knight forked your king + rook that it was over =P

Well, I guess your opponent made more blunders than you then =P
