Game Abortions

In the past 3 days i have probably lost 50 points for aborting games on move 1 for reasons out of my control. Each time I abort I lose 12 points, and it only goes up, which is very unfair. I would understand losing 3 points, but 12 is way too much, and I didn't even make a single move. Today I lost 12 points because my internet cut out randomly. How can I get them back or make it so that I don't lose so many points?

Maybe you can try getting better Wi-Fi, however that has happened to me and the best way is play 1 game every day and see how well it goes

its tru, when you reach 2100 rating, u lose like 10 elo for aborting a game

1st=+4
2nd=+1
3rd= -15
4rd= -40

Yea the ones who are down only get a lot of points when they win

if you live by your ratings on chess.com, you might want to think about another path to peace of mind. c.c ratings are - to give it some leeway - complete bullshit
