You could’ve done the Queens Pawn opening, it’s easier and plus the queen can also protect the d4 pawn

Instead of doing Re1, try d5. From ther, you will get and extra material

nah d5 does nothing serious, it gives up c5 square to black knight. Also d4 is not easier coz I can beat yo in my sleep with e4 LOL

But you plan is good, Bb3 followed by a5-a6 and d5 is a good way to break enemy queenside
