From what I've been taught, white's first move was a blunder :/

It can be if White doesn't continue correctly. I just chose a lazy opening. I'm hesitant to go into complex positions with strong computers since they almost always out-analyze me.

Yeah, that happens a lot with me too. But, the reason I say so, is because that playing the opening that white did, leaves the king to many attacks. Here is one.
Right. I actually had a kid I played at lunch one day at my old school play this. He was surprised after I played 2...Qh4#.
A skittles game from earlier today against Chess.com's computer. I had the black pieces, and the computer was set to Hard mode which is supposedly 2000+ level...not sure if I buy that.
