Gameloft's "Chess Classics" on sale

GameLoft's ChessClassics (URL opens iTunes) is on sale now for only $0.99. I think the original price was: $1.99. No idea how long the sale is for. ChessClassics claims the following distinctions:

A time ago the price was 7,99€!!

But I´m not sure about this app I read no good reviews. Anybody has it?

I have it.  Not good.  The 3D board isn't great - although you can move it around, and the 2D board is terrible.  It's got backgammon too, though.  I'm not surprised they dropped the price.

I had this app long ago and it definitely suck, big time... Weak engine, awfull 3D board, ultra small 2D board, slow in graphics & loading but fast in draining your battery. You were lucky to select and move exactly the piece you wanted and put it exactly where you wanted, and you had to wait for the computer's response before taking that back. Adding the fact that it has 80 MB or so, I wouldn't recommand this app even if it would sale for free. I think Gameloft should keep making their classic action games and let the board games for other developers.
