8. ... Bd6 seems new. White can isolate the queen pawn with 9. cxd5 cxd5 10. exd5 exd5 and it seems the best Black can do is draw. It seems the main line would be 8. ... Nf6. Although Fischer won a game from Petrosian way back in 1971 with the same idea.

Yeah I thought it would be interesting, it's isolated, but the only center pawn and passed.  Would have been a wide open game but definitely white probably better long term.

Not sure how Fischer treated it with the knight on f6, but White is better, certainly, probably not winning but just better.
