I thought posting my games jst wasted ur time... and yea in the line you posted what if Black had played 5... e5?

ya :) k this what about this for Black...? It is kinda like a KID but without the fianchetto bishop

Michael-G

The pawn structure after Black's 10th move is FDAV but you keep playing "your" opening.

e5 square is no longer important.Hitting Black's pawn structure is.The big positional mistake is 15.Nxf3

15.Bxf3 followed by a quick e4(as in French defense) would give you the advantage.

Marcus-101

all these transpositions confuse me..

Marcus-101

okay so in blitz just got this variation

15.Nxe4 was a good move. You may lose the rook lift but you gain a dangerous initiative.

Try to be more open minded. These positions give a lot of posobilities , don't look only the k-side attack.

d5 and f5 breaks usually give good game.

Marcus-101

ty for analysis I got lucky on tht one.. :D

Marcus-101

so what do you play against a reversed sicilian??

Michael-G

It's closer to a reverse KID than a reverse Sicilian.See the weakness on d3(we talked about it)? After 12...Ne5 Black is better.

But you got a very nice position anyway .You could continue with an "expansion q-side" plan(Bc6-b5-a5-b4)

Marcus-101

ah I attacked the kingside which was probably where I went wrong...

Michael-G

lol, do you always attack on k-side?

Marcus-101

usually.. unless I think I have immediate tactics on the queenside.. attacking the k-side just make more sense.. Also after 12...Ne5 can white play d4?

Michael-G

then either 13...Nd3 or  13...Nc4 give you good game

Marcus-101

ah yea clearly :)

Marcus-101

another crazy try against d4.. btw Michael my rating higher than ever atm! Not saying tht it is definately down to the change from e4 to d4 but maybe...

ah transposing into e4-e5 structure may have been cleverer. tht game wasn't as good as I thought it was.. its full of blunders!

Michael-G

Still all your games finish with a nice combination. Not bad at allSmile
