When I lost in rapid especially 3 or 4 in a row I am getting tilted, but when I play dayli game, and I lost I am never getting angry, because I will know in which move I did not calculate enough. But in rapid sometimes just I win or I loose, and ofc most of the time I analyze my last game but still, after 3 or 4 in a row in loose in rapid and I am getting frustrated. Is that normal?

Yes, it’s completely normal.

The more you lose, the more frustrated you get. And that affects your decisions.

That’s why I recommend a simple rule: after 2 losses in a row, take a break. Do something else, let the emotions calm down. Don’t keep playing just to “get a win back”.

Every game played under negative emotions will usually be worse than the previous one.

Much better to stop, reset, and come back later with a clear head.

This is very common. A lot of players struggle with it.

I recognise it, and suspect I only get that because I mind about the rating, even if I say I don't. If I'd just and only played for fun, it wouldn't matter at all. But especially because the loss of many rating points the goal of playing a few games is to get that number next to the name a little higher. Then that just sinks because one loses and loses again, that's indeed frustrating.

Therefore a game on an actual chess board, just with a mate, is just fun, and losing doesn't matter, it just motivates to play another game and try to win. While online chess is always rating related, even if you play an unrated game: after winning you think "now I missed out on those points".

The game should be for fun, forget the rating. Play to solve the puzzle. I wish I could listen to that advice.
