..First i want to thank this great site for its sympathy to the Egyptian people & its big support to the Egyptian players by protecting their games from timming out due to the cut of the internet from Egypt for about 5 bloody days in Egypt ..many thanks for the dear site support specialy my dear sister Julie (kohai) who always show how great she is ..
..Due to the cut of the internet from Egypt i lost about 80 games (NON vacation tournament games) and i lost also about 400 points from my latest rating before cutting the internet from Egypt..
..i was not feeling bad for losing these non-vacation games and these points as when i signed to these tournaments i was knowing clearly that no vacation will be allowed for these games in these tournaments under any condition ..
..i was realy appreciating the help of my dear sister kohai from the support & her real kind very warm feelings .. she tried her best to help me & to support my account ( without asking her to do that) as she feeled that the loss of these non-vacation games was by force & against my wish & what is refused by her..this dear great lady restored for me about 30 of these lost non-vacation games & restored my rating ..not only that ..she sent me a message to apologize that she cant restore the rest of these non-vacation games being founded in completed tournaments ..this was realy a very nobel action which i will never forget..
..ALSO ..many thanks for our dear site support who added 2 days as an extra-vacation time for all the Egyptian players in their games to support them and to protect them as possible from a massive loss of their games by these forced timeouts..
..While appreciating all these kind actions & after replying the many messages from my dear brothers and sisters from this world who were realy worried about me and about what is happening for me & for my family during these last bloody days in Egypt >> i was realy very happy & wishing to remove my vacation status ..
..while removing my vacation status i was surprised that my games which were showing 2 days as a remaining time for the nearest games to timeout became all out of time after removing my vacation status ..
..this happened for me before (from about 2 months) while removing my vacation status & put all my games out of time which led me to put my account in an emergency vacation to prevent the loss of all these games by a server error & i contacted the support which did its best to help me out of this problem & sent me an advice to reduce my no. of current games to avoid occuring this server error again ..
..At that time my going games were 860 games & currently they are 650 games which means that i realy did my best to obey the instructions of the site support & succeeded to reduce my games by about 210 games within 60 days inspite of the sharing in most of our team matches to support this peace family & due to stopping the sharing in any new tournaments inspite that i am mainly a tournament player before being a group leader ..
..AS i mentioned before on removing my current vacation status most of my games showed that they are all out of time which leads me to put my account again in an emergency vacation & to contact the support to help me ..but i was surprised by the reply of the site support which informed me that they cant fix this server error anymore due to my big amount of current games ..
..For my very bad luck most of these games which will time-out are very important games in the finals of about 150 tournaments which i m still competing to win them ..also i will lose a huge amount of my team games by these unfair timeouts
..the loss of all these games will waste all my efforts along 18 months of great activness on www.chess.com which will lead me to leave this dear site to another site where i can retry making a good record for my account on it ..
..I apologize to all the members of this great kind group for leaving them wishing to meet any of them on another chess site on the web ...i wish all the best for all our dear team members ...continue with this peace team for promoting world peace & under the management of our great super-admins whom will replace me ..

..these parts reflects clearly how much it is bitter for you and appears completely unfair when you was surprised by my words about leaving while you was counting on me that i will be always for you a supporting brother ..
..The same happened for me on receiving from the support that they cant fix their server error & that they are sorry that they cant help me due to my heavy game load ..
..When i subscribed to the site i wasnt informed that when i will take a vacation my games if they are a big no. will timeout during taking this vacation..
..when you may like to lead and convince others for promoting world peace there must be simple ethics you must feel to promote this kind feeling in the others ..JUSTICE & FAIRNESS are the most important to feel while managing a peace group ..do you think that i am feeling these very simple human ethics from the dear site while refusing to support my fair request to prevent timing out of my games while being in a vacation ..Do you realy think that i will be psychologicaly capable for managing our peace family ..

I joined this group based on your request that I do so. You told me what the group would stand for and it spoke to me acrosss the cyperspace.
I have watched you give your all to this group and it has grown and flowered under your leadership. In fact you have modeled great leadership so that others have followed when you were unable to do so.
You may need time to step away from chess and/or this website because of the things that may be pressuring you and family now.We cannot know how you are feeling and therefore we cannot judge you.

In Maher's defense, he is a very competitive player... and always fought to be amongst the top players for tournament points... so it's crushing for him to see so many pts and games lost at once.
And he said it happened to him before, so he is probably concerned it will happen again. But I think if he plays less games he will help manage that better to avoid it happening again..
I know you did reduce your games Maher, but perhaps it's best to reduce them even more, because you spend more time these days adminning for this group than before. Something has to give.
We're just offering some advice because we don't want to lose you.
Maher, please permit me to add my voice to the growing chorus of those respectfully and affectionately asking you to reconsider. chess.com is a great site precisely because of kind, dedicated, thoughtful people like you who love chess and have a genuine respect and concern for others. ..i love you man ..After sawing all these supporting comments which reflects the real love from my dear brothers and sisters on this site..i will never leave here regardless of any losses in my games as its meanless to leave all the love i feeled here for some lost games..some tournament points ..and some team games ..all these losses will be meanless if compaired with the real love i feeled so it will be a real loss for me now to leave my real brothers and sisters here for this currently meanless reason..
..still i have 6 days left as a vacation time left & whish still protecting hundreds of my games from timing out unfairly being timed out by a server error once i removed my vacation status on my games which were showing a minimum time of 2 days for the nearest games to timeout ..& by the way these 2 days which were left as a vacation time were added by the site itself as a sympathy for the Egyptian people
..i will be greatly appreciated if the staff will help me out of that before the end of my urgent vacation (6 days)..but even if they will not help me i will accept now ... after feeling this real love.... all these unfair losses in my games & all the waste of my long efforts over 18 months on this dear site.. in many competetions due to this massive loss of my games in the terminal rounds of these competetions ..

Maher's rating seems to have been restored if you look at his current games, not his archived games.. it shows 1909. :))
