yeah sure

actually how about we split it up, KeSeto can do first 2 rounds, I can do next two rounds, you can do tiebreakers (or something like that)

Good idea, but by "first 2 rounds" do you mean only my first two rounds, or ALL games in the first two rounds? We had a pretty solid turnout in this event didn't we? That might be a lot of work. Alternatively, we could select "key games" we wanted to annotate during the rounds we are assigned.

I'd be open to doing something like that, but I'll wait until it is clarified what everyone plans on doing before I invest time writing anything grin.png

yeah, I mean "key games" or noteworthy/impressive games

I've done two already, and I'll probably to a couple more later on.

Okay cool; I'll take the first two rounds and annotate the games I found interesting enough to annotate happy.png

I'll probably do them in stages too, but we'll see grin.png

I already finished the two tiebreaker games so I can help out for any of the others

Here are some round 1 games; I'll post my other games later on grin.png

Yes. I hope I made that clear enough in the annotations @little_guinea_pig - I wasn't claiming Qc2 was the mainline grin.png I just included it with the "!?" annotation because I found that alternative interesting. The "mainline" I followed was 9...d5, but I didn't annotate past that.

Thx for the analysis! I wish I spotted that trophies’ light squared bishop was short on squares. During the first game I couldn’t see my clock for some reason. I was freaking out, trying to figure out how to fix it but also trying to stay on pace with my opponent. Trophies would’ve gotten the win anyways but I wish I could’ve given him a harder time lol

this was for the players to submit their games to put in the recap @Viznik

I'm primarily posting this resource for @Viznik and @learnGM to glance over, but everyone is free to take a look and maybe even pick up a piece of advice or two that might help your chess happy.png

You're welcome @Viznik; glad to hear the annotations helped you and yes that interference at the end was a nice find for you. This was even stronger than promoting right away and recapturing with the Rook happy.png
