Heading to the Greater Boston Open on the 21st. Anyone else?

Hey, how did I not see this.  How did it go?  Good to hear from you again.  Everything has gone too quiet in the group.  We need to work on that a bit...

It went... horribly. I played one "back and forth" good game with someone with the same rating, but eventually lost. Then lost to a young kid about a kid about 150 points lower than me, won a game with a younger kid 200 points lower than me, and eventually drew with a teacher 300 points lower than me.

Got any good ideas in stirring things up? Might be difficult with the holidays to get too much.

Unfortunately I'm working second shift ontill end of Jan.  I'll look at my schedule.  We should put something together on a Sat. or a Sun. afternoon.  I know at least four guys that want to get together.  We could put together something after the holidays.  Just a meet and greet and play some chess.  I think I could arange something.

I know a few others as well and have a good location too; although in Winchendon. Lets talk again in January. Find a Saturday or Sunday.

Winchendon is fine.  Stay in touch!

Hey, it's after the holidays.  Hope everyone had a peaceful season.  Rogue any ideas on a date we could get together?  Is next Sunday too soon to get a hall?  1PM on Sunday 20 Jan13 would be ideal for a few of us anyway.  Any suggestions anyone.  I, for one, would like to get a live group going.  I know for some of you it might be too far but we have not forgotten about you.  If anyone has friends that may like to join us, I was thinking maybe once a month we could get together.  More, obviously, if time would permit.  Life gets pretty hectic so once a month for a few hours should be a good start.  Again, happy New year!
