Groovy Gang Ladder Discussion

That's fine, LadyLuck.

Just looking for thoghts on protocol as this is the first time we've had this happen, that's all.  Never going to stop you from having a match.

The groovers+ group was set up precisely for this purpose, being that when the groovy gangmates grew out of the 1200 limit, they'd have a place to go.  There's a ladder there also.

This is my thought, unless Voodooo vetoes it tomorrow: Go ahead and play this match for the Ladder title.  You both will be invited to the groovers+ group and you are more than welcome to join the ladder there and will be a great addition.  We'd love to have you there. 

After this match, the title will need to be vacated and the next two can play for it.

I await any needed correction from Voodoooo or if anyone else has another idea, I'm open.

Just wondering, how and when was the ladder formed? Its a really unique thingy...

The ladder tournament here in The Groovy Gang started about 6 months ago, I think.  The idea was pulled from another splendid <1200 rating group, The Pup Pack, where it had seen success for some time.  I do not know where they found their idea.

I have a question. If someone (like me for example) challenges someone lower than my ranking, and the higher person (me) wins. will the ranks stay the same or what?

They will.

That is correct.  Basically, there is nothing to gain from such a challenge. 

If you would like to play someone below you, feel free to issue a non-ladder challenge.  Would be a fun ice breaker if nothing else.
