Ok thank you
Groovy Gang Ladder Discussion

The groovers+ group was set up precisely for this purpose, being that when the groovy gangmates grew out of the 1200 limit, they'd have a place to go. There's a ladder there also.
This is my thought, unless Voodooo vetoes it tomorrow: Go ahead and play this match for the Ladder title. You both will be invited to the groovers+ group and you are more than welcome to join the ladder there and will be a great addition. We'd love to have you there.
After this match, the title will need to be vacated and the next two can play for it.
I await any needed correction from Voodoooo or if anyone else has another idea, I'm open.

Actually, LadyLuck, I have been notified that you are not accepting invites. Completely understandable.
If you would like to come over, here's the link:

You are now on the ladder, Max.
Familiarize yourself with the rules and then feel free to challenge. Thanks!

I would like to be added to the ladder, please.
No problem, Brad!
You are now on the ladder. Please avail yourself of the rules in the forum and then feel free to challenge!

Just a note to all Ladder participants:
I will be working longer days next week during a setup for a local event. I will attend to all ladder actions needed but it may take a little more time. Thank you for understanding!

The ladder tournament here in The Groovy Gang started about 6 months ago, I think. The idea was pulled from another splendid <1200 rating group, The Pup Pack, where it had seen success for some time. I do not know where they found their idea.
Hope that helps. 8^)

I have a question. If someone (like me for example) challenges someone lower than my ranking, and the higher person (me) wins. will the ranks stay the same or what?

That is correct. Basically, there is nothing to gain from such a challenge.
If you would like to play someone below you, feel free to issue a non-ladder challenge. Would be a fun ice breaker if nothing else.

That's fine, LadyLuck.
Just looking for thoghts on protocol as this is the first time we've had this happen, that's all. Never going to stop you from having a match.
