I agree they should forfeit if its rated/unrated. However I believe they should not forfeit if it is a 3 day challenge. It would have to be a 5 TC before forfeit occurs.
Groovy Gang Ladder Discussion

The Ladder challenges can be any length. There is no forfeiture other than the 3 day unrated challenge. This simply allows the Ladder to have structure and not be ripped apart by everybody's personal likes/dislikes. For example, 5 days between moves is far too long for my liking and I lose interest and the essense of continuity. It can certainly be agreed upon before a challenge if any match is to be a bit unorthodox.
Why anyone offers a rated challenge without running it by the challenged first is completely beyond me. Simple communication via message allows for a custom setup and avoids the delay of an unanswered challenge.
Why anyone wouldn't respond to a Ladder challenge is also beyond me. Declining with an explanation takes 2 minutes to type up, maybe. However, I do know that if someone plays exclusively on their phone, they do not see the title of the match and it is not possible to see unless they go out to a browser to look. That is why it has been mentioned for people making the challenge to please send a message explaining the challenge to the person they are challenging.
I also don't get why you would be on a Ladder and not trying to climb. Sitting stagnant for months at a time boggles my mind.
I had a simple glich in my pc it took 3 and half days to figure it out and get back into the swing of things. By the way I'M BACK.

Apparently, only the A landed where it was supposed to on the last shuffle. I'll have it righted in just a moment. Sorry for any confusion.
I feel I have been above 1200 for a while now and therefore should be removed from the ladder. I forfeit my game against arjuna70 so they can take my place.

Just something to be mindful of, the ratings limit for the Groovy Gang is 1200, on the Ladder. If you see increases in your rating, you might consider joining us over in groovers+ on the Ladder there where there is no cap.

Don't want to step on any toes here but perhaps rated or not players should forfeit there position if they do not accept a challenge so others who are willing to play have the chance to advance. What do you think?
