but i've been playing for 3 years, and cm's even longer, i'm barely a 1300, it's going to take longer than a summer.

Here is how: I will do 3 week of improvement that is 2 weeks of rated puzzles, 3 days of puzzle rushes, puzzle battles, and survivals of puzzle, and finally, 4 days of lessons. Then, I would do 1 week of getting my rating of rapid, blitz, and bullet up high to a master's play level. Finally, I would start real tournaments of FIDE and get my FIDE rating up by 1300 and become Fm or at least Cm. That a good stradegy?

meh its ok, but you'd have to do that training for like a year, it's pretty hard to get FM and CM, and takes lots of work, definitely longer than 1 summer, but good luck

Ask any titled player, they will say it takes YEARS to become titled. Chess is a hobby, not a job. But thats my opinion.
