I'm going to say no, on the assumption that the laws of physics are the same as they were yesterday. To be clear, I think this is quite a safe assumption, as we haven't all dropped dead.

I suspect given clear conditions the man in the moon might be on view again for a few days around May 15th.
Why is Cornell University talking about it?
I didn't realise they were. All I could find was speculation websites and extremists. Could I have a link? :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that just the eccentricity of it's orbit. Whereas this is about it's axial tilt?

well I do think that there will be a lot of changes in the univers. The foundations of the univers will be shaken as it where. But then again that might be of a different topic.
