what have you studied- the Rossolimo? Its supposed to be really really good for white

1st round: vs Viznik, felt good but he did beat me in speed chess once so i was still wary. He played some weird bg4 line against my Colle that I hate but I played correctly against it. Then he got too aggressive by playing qd7 trying to long castle and he dropped a piece to a tempo winning tactic (btw it just loses a piece it doesnt equalize if black trades queens @Viznik)

2nd round: vs icy

I felt nervous but a little more confident now that I knew he was trash at nc6 Sicilian. I take my time in the opening to avoid another DaBaby vs Sardoche situation where he destroyed me with it. I play all the right moves and eventually, I find the f5 + d5 (together it was weird) and I knew that I had to be winning. He got too confident about this pin but I was able to avoid it with qh5+ and pick up the piece, but i was still under a lot of pressure. the rest of the game i just tried to trade until I found that checkmate sequence

3rd round: vs Cricket, I tried to play a Pseudo-Panov vs his english but sadly he didnt and we ended up in an instant draw (just english tings)

4th round vs three point: I always thought i was better after the openings but he kept finding these absurd defensive maneuvers to avoid any loss of material, so I just tried to put my pieces on their best squares and he unfortunately dropped a rook at the worst time (wasnt a straight up blunder but it was a nice tactic)

watching Rico and Cricket's game was so tense as I thought that you'd repeat moves or something and I would get first
