????
Hello, why have Team Peru been removed from the daily games?
where is ilmago ???? peru had not a team B but is disqualified...maybe wrong decision which CAN be changed.....or all other teams refuse to play, then you have nothing
It would be good if we join together on January 17, we will carry out a streaming via Twitch with a Peruvian GM explaining all this, I will publish the link shortly or I will send you internally. There is no evidence or support for a B team, it is a group of only 300 players who do not represent Peru, it has already been explained to him but he does not want to understand, he closes in his position.
We want the evidence that a group of 300 players was used to filter players, we want a single test that proves their grand theory.
fact is, it is not only him...it is a board of a group of people, and it looks like that majority is against Peru, but there is no real reason to be againts Peru
Tony post a daily match link, you are posting a live match link.
https://www.chess.com/club/matches/live/team-peru/473003/games
You do not have a daily match with 145 players, a maximum of 66 players, the match you posted is part of the Rapid 10 | 2 final, it is not a match of 3 days per move.
On the other hand, as Team Peru is made up of both players who play WL and Pan (daily) as well as LCWL and LCPAL (live), it is impossible for them to filter players, the World League board is totally wrong in this punishment.
If the punishment is totally wrong, because we only have one team in the two live world leagues, daily, and Pan American, we don't have another registered team, that's what I'm explaining to @ilmago but he doesn't understand. Thank Diego 🤝
I was reviewing daily games and we have low-elo players playing, we have been 6th in this group but with honor, they have participated without discriminating players, all of them.
If we are only a single registered team, it is logical that we have low-elo players in all categories, very good logic, I think everything is clearer now.
@ilmago
You seem to wish that the World League is simple.
This is a misunderstanding.
Organizing the World League is complicated, and it has always been complicated.
The current team of directors has the advantage of having many years of experience running the World League.
And it has the disadvantage that sometimes all this experience sometimes creates the impression that things are running so smoothely that it seems simple to organize the World League.
But in fact, the World League has always been complicated to organize. It has always required a considerable amount of help and cooperation and understanding from the admins of the participating teams. Many teams think this has been worth the effort, and they think it is interesting to play in the World League.
If you want a simple league instead of a complicated league, you can definitely go look and find one. They may have less requirements than the World League, or different requirements - ilmago
still not solved the problem.........ilmago should have posted the reason after talking to his colleagues. Can not really understand it...Like Argentina last year
I did not know that Team Peru had a B team and the questions I ask, I understand that they correspond to another debate away from the subject under discussion here and it is not my intention to argue. I do not have a formed opinion about it. But I ask: Is it necessary to create a second team to train new Daily Chess players? I understand that the point is to decrease the TOs (Time overs). The spirit of the World League, in addition to sports competition, is to generate a meeting space between two different cultures (produced by the clash of two nations) through chess. Perhaps the generation of second teams goes against the spirit of the World League. Who guarantees that the filter of that team B is not discriminatory? Why should a new player go through a B team to understand the mechanics of the World League? Are those players who commit TOs in team B promoted to the starting team? Or let them die on team B? Is it fair to deprive that player from competing in the World League if he has less than 25% TOs in the last 90 days?
Please. Do not feel that I am against Peru. Quite the opposite. It hurts me a lot to see how great teams like Peru and Argentina are left out of the World League due to situations that may have similarities. That is why I ask myself these questions.

@ilmago....come on and tell us your opinion please....
