Help - Tilt :(
1588 Elo more than me-
After tilts, i rage, come back the next day, get it back, then quit for months (true story ;-; )
Play one that you don’t often play or care about rating like if you play blitz main try rapid or something
hey guys
I'm going through a major tilt in ratings, I reached 1890 in August, but I've suddenly lowered my rating to 1587, any major tips on what i should do?
Play when you are in good mood and when you have no hurry or tension. And if you lose 3 matches in a row, then take a break. If you have tilted a lot, take a break of atleast 3 days and then start again.
I have already witnessed lots of tilts in rapid and blitz but I have never followed the above tips. So, use it at your own risk.🙂

Concentrate on learning, not hustling. During this periods I'm usually studying (learning openings, endgames and so on) as hard as I can so it's almost as time consuming as many-hour blitz sessions but you are getting better instead of getting tilted. Good luck!
I have gotten to my peak rating 14something a few months ago in rapid and then got tilt till like 1100 I think, similar thing from 1672 to 1480. Its really hard to stop yourself from playing after yoy lose 7 games in a row cause you think Im going to win this one game and go but you dont. Just have a rest, I also created a second account to just play when I dont want to lose rating, there I dont care about it as much. Helps to learn some openings too.
