Here is a thought to really promote the game

Have the best 2048 people play the game live you can even have qualifiers per region it would be a great idea to really promote the game have the worlds best brightest come together for 1 event

why 2048?

maybe 1024 the number needs to be in multiples of 4 and the games starting completely random

you would sit down in a chair and randomly play video game style its essentially what everyone is doing now be points based but the actual number of really good players is unknown many wouldnt be able to adjust because they only are normally playing with a partner on here

i would say without "official". if the others are not playing because they re scared of losing points means they don t even deserve said points... the scores should lower if players don t play. also the leaderboard is full of ppl that play mostly with extremely lower elo (a certain "queen" or "bigbrain", for example...) therefore some of those players shouldn t even be there. and u play a lot and vs the highest elos.... therefore it's safe to say that u are indeed the highest, which also means best, if someone else is not coming to prove it wrong on the board. cheers and gl!
