Will do WolfStriker1.....Right now I am in a really good game which I will post afterwards. I can't see him escaping checkmate. It's a big win if he falls because he is rated over 600 points higher than I am!!
He needs his knight and its been pinned for about 6 moves I think...he exchanged rooks with me to try to free it but my other rook took his and the pin was still in force. Pins can be completely nasty....
rook_battery, I wish you an interesting experience in your first USCF rated tournament. I am sure that you will encounter meny interesting participants in the tournament. Most of all, have an enjoyable time.
Hello everyone...Just saying hi and letting you know I am now a member here. I love this game and want to improve as best I can. I am joining the USCF on April 18th (there is a tournament going on at my chess club and I am joining then so I can get a rating established) and once I do I will definitely enter some tournaments. There is one in Ohio that is pretty big but I can't remember the name of it. I will enter that and have a good time win or lose. The experience of that right now is valuable to me, and who knows what could happen?
