That is incorrect Hikaru got four and not in a row. Some of the brilliant moves you say were just good moves. I analyzed the game and he got 4 brilliant. Also he would beat Stockfish's record which is almost impossible to believe. If you don't believe me check out the game.

Whole idea was to lock the centre with his rook and then start a attack on kingside !!!!!!!
Black can't take whites rook because then whites own black coloured bishop will become monster on this long diagonal and centre will still be locked by the pawns !!!
