How did Gothamchess Rise So Quickly?

Now, if you watch Youtube Chess videos then there is no way you don't know about Gothamchess. He is a Twitch Streamer as well. But my question is what do you think made him rise so quickly? Like 1 million subscribers in 1 year is just ridiculous!!!!!!

I think cause his videos are really funny and not just a bombardment of information of a game. He is better than agadmator.

Also, In this month he is on track to defeat Agadmator

Idk maybe his every chess player find his video very funny ,interesting and ofc informative and since he’s also a quite famous international master many ppl might watch his videos to actually learn something so yeah maybe that the reason

Also, sometimes agadmator's accent is weird and it seems weird how like he just blows the video with information. also gothamchess is a better player

And he does not tell what a move does. he does not do calculations either. so after a time, to me it gets boring

Well....people are different. Some people find chess videos boring but Levy is too amusing. Other people find Levy's videos helpful and informative and since he is famous, he  is way more better than Agadmator or GM Hikaru, no offence

GM hikaru is actuallya player. He really shouldnt stream.

Also Agadmators editing is really behind right now. there is hardly any editing

Yeah and gothamchess makes his board bigger ad he does not tell what a move does and its motive

i mean agadmator's videos were great, in 2017. there has literally been no change in 4 years

also gothamchess's background is much better. he shows his gold play button while agadmators background is so bad. 

Hi  everyone as i am the 7th one who is commenting this post. First comment i saw was his videos are funny and some are saying he is about to defeat Agadmator but the main thing is not funny or about rhe defeat its about he makes videos for begineers, intermediate and also advanced players and also he gives tips too some recent tips he gave are *how to win fast,* and to avoid mistakes etc and also he makes a big video which covers almost 5 to 7 days of agadmators. And main thing is agadmator only shows the game played by gm and shows some tips there but gowtam is not like that.. And so he is growing fast.... And also forgive me if i have told anything wrong.. And also sorry for bad english..... Thank you 👍😀😀

Yes...as I said, it is amusing and informative.  Agadmator is a great YouTuber too, but he only shows recaps. Gotham, shows everything any chess player can ask for
