I went to my uncle's house 6 years back from now on a long summer vacation. He introduced me to chess.We.played 27 games there.I lost each one of them but I liked the strategy of the game.So I decided that I would play chess on the board but there was no one to practice with.So I just watched some videos about chess. Then I got a chess friend to play against in my class. He is 1400 elo and I played many many games against him. That practice helped me to get some sort of pattern recognition.I became like a 600-700 elo strength player then one fine day I opened an account grinded till 1000, closed that because I felt bored , opened this one and now I'm almost 1300 elo.
How did you start chess? Put your story here.

I went to learn chess somewhere for a 4-week camp. I still could not play and i didn't know the pieces. Someone recommended me that I should use Chess.com to learn how to play. It took me 1 week to learn everything. I am still not that good but at least I know how to play. I am forever grateful for that person who told me about this.

I went to my grandfather 5 years ago in the summer vacation where he gave chess board to me as a gift and taught me chess. I played a lot during that time but stopped playing till 2023. Where my cousin came and challenged me then I got my board out and started this account and then my senior saw me playing chess in school. Then he taught me advanced a bit and we had a lot practice then in 2024 rbse district tonarments in which students of school from all over the district came I was one of 10 finalist. I played finals but lost.
