I little more information is needed for that answer. What size and type telescope do you have? What eyepiece are you using?

Select Jupiter from the Solar System Objects, add you scope and eyepiece info. Then choose Add View and it will show how Jupiter will look with that combo.
For very high power, you will need some good seeing. You should be able see the bands with enough mag.
