How do I detect if a user is online and playing a game in the chess.com API? Also is it possible to get the current live URL of the game?

I don't think you can but I'm interested to see what other members have to say.

I seem to remember the 'is-online' endpoint being inhibited/removed some time ago.

The Public API isn't real-time data, so that isn't something that would be available.
