How do I make strong coffee?

This morning I let my good beans bloom for about five minutes, yet the final product was still weaker than what I was expecting and hoping for. How is strong coffee made?

We just use the little cups so I honestly can't tell you. The more you concentrate it though, ie, less water, the stronger it is.

What ratio of beans to water do you use?

Avatar of little_linguist

Probably 3:1 or 4:1. Water: beans.

I'll teach you in four easy steps:

  1. Boil the water
  2. Grind the beans, if your into that
  3. Strain the water through a sock (used for that "real cowboy" taste)
  4. Dump the coffee out, clean the mug, and get tea instead

Bruh.  I use two ounces of ground coffee in a French press and then about maybe a quart of water

I do 1T of coffee to 1 cup of water in a coffee maker. For cold brew I do 1/2 cup of coffee for a full French press of water

Right, but I do pour over in a percolator, not French Press.
