Not sure if I can explain why, but it seems like a chess.com member should not have friends that they have, and have never had, any interaction with. Why call them a friend if you have never talked to them or played a game against them and probably neve will?
I have 47 friends here. I guess 100 or so isn't a lot, but some people have over 1,000. Isn't that too many?
I just added a few as a friend, like 3 or 4. Mainly nothing happens. If it is a real chess friend then it could be real useful maybe. There are so many people here it is easy to find a game. I guess folks might hunt for booty here and the friend feature could be used romantically.
So how many chess.com friends should one have?
