I think it's a good way to calculate further, but by using analysis board, chess in real life on a real board doesn't improve, because you will have to calculate everything without help of any paper or analysis board or anything like that, so you won't be training this brain activity if you use analysis board.
How much do/should you use the analysis board

Was just wondering how people (and if people) used the analysis board when playing the online chess.
I tend to when positions become tricky and there is a continuation that I am unsure of, but largely I try and work it in my head and then confirm my thoughts.
Do you think using the analysis board is good for improving chess or is it better to try and avoid it completely? I guess there maybe people who even consider it cheating - but given it's an inbuilt part of online chess here, I would say not.
