It would make more sense in Example 4 to count the board points as 4 - 2 because it is strange to give additional points for boards that are missing, instead we are giving additional points for board that was present for one side only.

Example 1
In Div. B one team (Team X) comes with 4 players, the opposing team (Team Y) comes with 2 players. The match is played over 2 boards (=4 games) and ends up with the field score of 3 to 1 in favour of Team X. Team X wins the match by forfeit because Team Y had less than the minimum number of boards required (3 for Div. B). Team X gets 3 points on the field plus additional 3 board points for the missing board of Team Y.

In Div. B one team (Team X) comes with 5 players, the opposing team (Team Y) comes with 7 players. The match is played over 5 boards (=10 games) and ends up with the field score of 5 to 5. Both teams met the minimum boards requirement, therefore the result is entirely made on the field.

In Div. A one team (Team X) comes with 9 players, the opposing team (Team Y) comes with 5 players. The match is played over 5 boards (=10 games) and ends up with the field score of 7 to 3 in favour of Team X. Team Y failed to meet the minimum boards requirement, therefore it looses by forfeit. Team X gets 6 more board points for the 2 missing boards of Team Y.
