How to counter this opening? 4PC teams
The idea behind it, as you've probably gathered, is to weaken the b6/m9 square & diagonal, either by gaining a check (if taken), or threatening to check and ruin the king's pawn structure (taking on b6/m9).
Qm7 & Qb8 (placing the queen in front of the king) after the bishop attack does a good job of solving these issues.
I don't play teams enough to know how viable everything is; as I recall r/y can still complicate things but Qm7 & Qb8 is probably winning, or at least puts g/b in a better position I believe. I don't know the moves after Qm7 & Qb8 (if there is theory), but I'd think this position can be played decently well (for b/g) even if you don't know a ton of the moves after it

i just log on 4pc for the new variants that come up and help up people on forum. well i have some theory for what the guy asked for but i kinda have to dig up lines as i have forgotten them

true in old setup i wouldve easily tell the lines as i had studied many of them
