How to Defend Against Sicilian Defense? Queen's Gambit?

So...

I'm trying to beat one of my friends and they almost exclusively play the Sicilian Defense as Black and Queen's Gambit as White.

Are there any traps, counterattacks or lines that you have found to work well against these openings? (If possible, can you illustrate them for me?)

I found the accelerated rossolimo attack (2. f4) to be pretty effective.

In almost all the rossolimo lines, White's dream is f4. Soo why not play it asap?

Your idea is to pretty much just start attacking the enemy weaknesses.

I have also done some analysis.

These are the 4 responses black has. While D5 is mainline, He probably wont play it.

By playing the accelerated rossolimo, you are limiting the amount of preparation the enemy can do.

But there are many bad moves for us that you SHOULDN'T make.

Ok soo you see, Indian defense is not a very strong opening, But stockfish is the best at defending and the indian defense is all about defense. You need a different opening for it yknow.

then lemme tell you bro, kings indian defence is one of the most aggressive openings in chess. the indian defences are played at the GM level most often. I dont think I need to explain any more.

Well idk. Can you show me 1 variation. I never saw it being played right...

at least stay updated with the latest news

There is a proper refutation

and general consensus is that kings indian isn't very good for anyone below 2k so keep your opinions to yourself

A high level of positional understanding is required to play it well or else its just white who dominates
