We play vote chess games and team matches. When a new one starts, chess.com will send you a message. In the message will be a button that will take you to the page where you can sign up.
Vote chess games are games that we play as a team against another team. We all discuss our moves and then vote on the move we think is best. The move that gets the most votes is the move our team plays. Team matches are set up so that each person who signs up plays separate games (that are like regular online games) against someone from the other team. Each win counts as a point for our team and each loss counts as a point for the opponents.
To get to the vote chess games: On the right hand side of our group home page, there is a menu. Click on the "Vote Chess" tab:
There, it has a list of the current games as well as the completed games. You can go on either of the current games:
And from there, you can click on the button to join our side and play in the game:
Beneath the board, is where our team can comment about each move. And when you want to vote, the "Vote" button is right where the regular "Submit Move" button would be on a regular online game.
