From the group's main page hover above ... More and click on Vote Chess!
Then click on a game, and choose Join.
Down at the bottom of the of the page just above the comments section click on Team (Private) and tick the Follow box at the bottom right to get alerts when people post comments.
In a vote chess game lets say at 48 hours per move, join in the discussion for the first 24 hours.
If the move you want to vote for hasn't been mentioned, post what it is and why you like it.
One of the admins or a high rated member will call the vote around the 24 hour mark, and then we can all start voting.
Never DRIVE BY VOTE this means that you voted for a move which was'nt discussed this is unacceptable.
DRIVE BY VOTES can lock in a vote which is a blunder resulting in lossing the game.
A safe vote is also usually made when the 24 hour mark arrives.
Again by an admin or a high rated member safe voting a move which has been discussed.
This is done to try to prevent a timeout and losing the game.
Treat your team mates with respect.
By all means, point out mistakes in analysis, but don't attack the person who posted them.
Come up with moves by yourself.
Posting moves from a chess engine may result in removal from the club.
Remember, vote chessis played as a team game.
If you are not planning on reading and/or participating in the team comments, why bother being on a vote chess team?
Vote Chess is an opportunity to help each other improve their individual game, while we play and try to win together as a team.
