I have successfully made a club for a variant, which became an official chess.com club.

You're welcome!
That does make it difficult. Which club is it? It's possible that the focus of your group isn't specific enough.
Ah, I see. you’d be pretty hard-pressed to get your club official since there’s already an official 4 Player Chess club (this one we’re talking in now). To have any chance (and even then, it’s probably not very likely), you’d want it to be the “4 Player Chess (Russian)” club. Basically, make it centered around, “If your first language is Russian, and you play 4 Player Chess, this is the club for you.”
Invite people with a Russian flag (NOT random people). This will be hard but it's worth it if you want to make it a big club.

Advice ain't really wrong...
Why?
Is it even possible?
