How To Make Thumbnails?

Sort:
Fire

This is a topic where we share our advice on how to make high-quality thumbnails. For the record I use Pixlr.e, A free web design place.

Tip #1- Use A Board

Yes, always use a board as much as possible, if there is an interesting position, it will increase the chances of somebody clicking on our blog. If you need to know how to do this, set up a position of the Analysis Board, and when you have set up your position, click the load button

Now, load the position. will continue in next tip

Tip #2- Deceiving Brilliants

Once you have loaded it, it should look like this

Now draw some lines and make one move, to make it look more interesting. Screenshot it when you have drawn all the lines. When deceiving a brilliant, hold down Alt while right clicking a line to make it green. Now screenshot, and go into Pixlr

your board should look like this, without any brilliants

Load this image into pixlr, and it should look this like this.

USE PIXL.E, NOT X

There should be a crop button, use it to crop your chess board into just a chess board

once you  have applied your cropping of images, use ctrl + S to save it to your computer.

Now go find a background that you will have for your blog, recommend geometric shapes, or something simple like that. open your image into pilxlr into a new document

Now insert your board, and now you can add the "fake brilliant" in. here is the file you can right click save and use

Insert this into your board, and put it where you want.

Use the color replace option now, and replace the two squares that you want to become brilliant. So in my case where the king started, and where it is now. For the colour of the brilliant move, use the color picker tool on the fake brilliant move.

Tip #3- If there is a name, include a face.

Now that I have my board all successfully set up, I need something else so your eyes bounce around on the thumbnail. Include an image of a person if there is a name, it will make your blog look professional. Also tip inside tip, always cut out the backround. You can do that by using the cutout tool.

Slap some text on to there, and your finished

Add it all together and you got a beautiful thumbnail like this (ok maybe not great)

now please, tell me your tips

Tip 1: don’t do this, people will get very angry

Tip 2: you don’t necessarily need a thumbnail

No dude, many ppl come just to read or see the blog , and some people just even ignore the blog 😅

If they do what you said, just simply delete the comment that's all

Deleting the comment would make it worse though I think.
