HOW TO MASTER CHESS ENDGAMES

In chess, many chess players fail to play  the endgames correctly even higher levels and tournaments

and also some GM's.    ENDGAMES in chess are the most crucial stages in chess games and each and every move should be played very carefully as 1 move can change the entire game.  Endgames also require lot of very accurate and good moves and you should be very aggressive while moving chess pieces and not play passive with your chess pieces.

There are many kinds of endgames in chess.

And the main strategy in the endgame is

The stronger side (the one with more material using the standard piece point count system) should try to exchange pieces (knights, bishops, rooks, and queens), while avoiding the exchange of pawns. ... This generally makes it easier to convert a material advantage into a won game.

and in some cases with low material you can draw the game.

  13. Practice these exercises with a partner.
  14. Solidify your endgame play with practical review.
  15. Take  quizzes on endgames.
  16. Analyze your endgames. (very important)

CHESS ENDGAME RULES:

  1. Master the basic checkmates
  2. Master the basics of technique
  3. Push passed pawn
  4. Activate your king
  5. Play "Backwards-to-Forwards" Chess
  6. Beware of "German Words"!
  7. Find and use the pawn majority
  8. Use the principle of two weaknesses
  9. Be Concrete & Calculate!
  10. Fewer Pieces = Less Room for Error!
