How to play Bullet Chess explained.

Too succeed in Bullet Chess, there are 2 elements that you need to master:

  1. Of course, you need to have an approximately A-player chess knowledge to get to 2000 in Bullet. Most important is knowing principles and quick pattern recognition. My coach tells me that I have a Master understanding of the game. The better it is, the better you are at chess, obviously. We will not cover this here. Instead, you some of chess.com's amazing learning features.
  2. Time. Due to the short time-limit of Bullet Chess, 60 seconds, time is a crucial factor. Turn the "Premove" option on, and premove some of the opening moves. Here are some ideas:
    These are all some ideas. I will continue this topic next week.

Graphic for sacrificing pawns and pieces:

Sometimes, if you make your opponent use a lot of time, it's worth it to sacrifice some pieces. Here is a graph:

First 10 seconds: Pawn=10 seconds Minor Piece: 20 seconds Rook: 35 seconds: Queen: 45 seconds

40 secs--49 secs Pawn: 5 seconds: Minor Piece: 15 seconds Rook: 30 seconds Queen: 40 seconds;

30--39 secs Pawn: 2 seconds; Minor Piece: 7 seconds; Rook: 15 seconds Queen: 30 seconds

20--29 secs Pawn: 1 seconds; Minor Piece: 3 seconds; Rook: 8 seconds Queen: 15 seconds

10--19 secs Pawn: 1 seconds; Minor piece: 3 seconds; Rook: 6 seconds; Queen: 12 seconds

1--9 secs Pawn: 1 secs; Minor piece: 1 seconds; Rook: 4 seconds; Queen: 5 seconds;

Final Five Pawn: half a second; Minor piece: 1 seconds; Rook: 2 seconds; Queen: 3 seconds.
