In Maori Kia ora is a greeting and means thank you also kei te pehea koe is how are you? Which is odd because when asked in Maori your rude if you don't answer in Maori unless Maori guy being a butthole and asking someone with no Maori ( of course we have those) then answers are Kua ngenge ahau or l am tired Kei te pai ahau or I am fine Ka werohia e ahau to kanohi ki te penei taku ahua which means imma punch your face in that's how I am!!!!! ( Might not want to use that one I never learned that at school so you'll just get confusion) and probably more... It's an entire language after all
