How to Unite Indians? -- An inter-group discussion.
if about name BHARAT then we can short out by as team Iraq and many other have done
They have written Team Iraq in arabic (I guess) and then in english, but we have hundreds of languages in India, more than 20 major ones, in which language shall we write Bharat as a prefix to Team India?

It's Fareeq Al Eraq in Arabic. I can read some Arabic . So fareeq must be meaning a group or team. Usually "jama" or something similar is what I had come across for group or congregation. Like "jama masjid" for mosque where people come together. Also "jama" in urdu/hindi is used for "adding"...

as per Indian Gazette Hindi and English are only two official working languages.

This is a straight attack towards the non Hindi speakers.

There is no 'national language' in India. This is as per decision of Gujarat High Court:

Hindi alongside English is used for official work in central government but that doesn't mean you can impose Hindi on non Hindi speakers by writing our group name in Hindi.
And your statement:
as per Indian Gazette Hindi and English are only two official working languages
is completely wrong. Each state is permitted to use their respective language in official work of their state, including court proceedings.
lolzzz
thats why I said official language not national. we can work in both languages. I am not saying that you cant write ur article in ur own mother language. you can post here in ur language I will translate that and then will read.
you again divide it in states when i am saying about country(central) govt.

if you think like that, then thats lolz because Govt. of Indian has suppressed other 20 languages.
by the way their are 22 scheduled languages.

I don't think, by using different languages "Unity" can be achieve.
First of all, our attitude towards unity should be match.
And Language is nothing but only medium of communication, so as per my opinion english is common language on World Wide Web, It has its some parameters, and every person using web can understand English as well.
But, "Unity" has much broader and vast meaning.
We can't adjust in unity for the sake of language only, but we can adjust our language for the sake of "Unity".

its look like Hindi is official language by this source supported by english, I gotta shocked

@ post 55 for veeru: every person using web can understand english as well, that is totally not true because there are lots of Balkan, Baltic, Catalonia, Arabic etc.(cant say about French) they lack in english but they use web:: on my personal experience.
they have pride of their language because mostly their languages are in official languages of UN.
Regarding Amritaji's point of view that Bharat is the original name:
I think its not related to chess, we are here to play chess. The name India is used and known all over the world and if we want to change that, a single group in an online chess site can't change that. It has to be changed by the government by passing a bill etc. I'm of the view "what's in a name?" Already, in TI forum, TI admins have agreed to rename it to Bharat or any other name if all other groups are deactivated for the purpose of 1 single group. If Amrita mam agrees to this (renaming of TI and deactivating Bharat group), then its one less hurdle now and one more step towards unity.Since you are a member of TI,you are requested to go through the forum post titled as " Too many Indian groups " where all the above points & views of the group BHARAT regarding them are discussed at length !!!
