Ummm, this is really random here. I just recently joined and just wanted to ask a simple (likely stupid) question.
How do you watch out for traps? I'm completely bad at chess, like, have played for a long time and loses most of my games inside chess.com and outside. The problem is I always blunder and miss the traps my opponents give and easily fall for them, without seeing any hint of danger until I actually moved my pieces.
Is there any way to practice seeing traps and raising Elo scores? My elos are always at beginner level and NEVER got past intermediate.
I tried some strategies and my opponents never follow them.
Or do I just need a pair of glasses and whatsoever?
