How was summer?

So, how was your guys' summer? Do anything interesting?

Summer's been great, how about you? Joined a symphony orchestra, I'm excited for the first concert.

Cool! I've been going on boat trips with friends and playing with the neighbors. Other than that, just hanging out.

Looking forward to the first chess club meeting! I don't know when it is, though.

I think it's next week, because student social week is next week.

Ohh. That makes sense. I kind of figured that student social week was this month, but I didn't know when.

My summer was enjoyable for me. I'm a sophomore playing my first year of football (American), I've made a varsity starter, and I'm the fastest member on my team. I also started learning piano this summer and made plenty of progress in 3 months IMO.

That's really cool! I don't know much about football, but that's cool! Piano is also a really nice instrument! I don't play, but I would love to learn sometime.

Yeah man, if you want to learn it, go ahead! I started with a super small unrealistic keyboard, but everyone starts somewhere. Ngl it's not that hard to learn, like anything is just practice. Matthew71, do you have an instrument?

I might try to learn it at some point. What is your favorite thing to play on piano?

It is really difficult. It took me three years to learn it.
