Get ready for speed, swindles, and pure adrenaline—the Chess.com Hyperbullet Chess Championship is back! Starting June 12, this thrilling event features two days of nonstop action and a $2,500 prize pool.
As always, the event will have two stages:
Qualifiers on Thursday, June 12:
There are eight qualifiers between 11 a.m. ET and 7:00 p.m. ET
Each qualifier is a 30-minute arena
Time control: 30 seconds
The winner of each arena qualifies for the Final
Players who have already qualified for the Final cannot play in subsequent qualifiers
Any member of the Chess.com community can join. You can check the full qualifier schedule and click the "Join" button to participate. We may require participants to join a fair-play video call. Players who join the call must set up two cameras from different angles in the room. Players who refuse to comply will be removed from the event.
Knockout Final on June 13:
Double-elimination knockout
Time control: 30 seconds
Each match is a 20-minute countdown timer.
The player with the most points after the timer runs down wins, as long as they lead by at least two points.
