However, it seems to me that his apology was only for having started the argument by calling me a "karen" -- his verbal offenses towards me continued past that 1st offense.
And yes, the question now is - was it out of sincerity or he was just apologizing (for his 1st offense) ONLY because he was told to?

I feel too hurt to get over all his intentional and deliberate offenses right now.

no conflict is happening, the only thing he has to do is to know that he had done really bad and needs to apologize.
