As far as I know, all OTB fide events in Uganda are suspended. We had only the league and like 3 open tournaments at years end. These have since been suspended due to covid19. Local area unrated tourneys do take place though. Contact UCF website to get more help.

That's it, this issue of facing cheaters everytime is so frustrating.... Indeed we should organize the tournament and I think it doesn't require much.

Venue: Most central location to ease commute of players. Shouldn't be expensive. Covid19 protocols. Schools as venues, conference facilities, social centres.
Player notification: distribute fliers on social platforms and individually. Set registration fee and determine cash prize for winners. I will start the design of the flier.
