I played in a tournament and in the second round I got this position:

I was black and it was my move.
I offered a draw and he accepted.
But I didn't see a winning chance for me and he didn't see it too.
So here the position as puzzle:

Black to move wins.

Why did you offer a draw? Obviously, even if you didn't see the winning line completely, you are better and c4 is the only way to continue as black.

This is how you win more games OTB.

Sometimes in against a higher rated opponent you chicken out and offer a draw in a better position, but you know you were better. That is not how to get more rating. You must risk and push for a win, the risk is much less than the reward in that situation.
